1. Working Environment
The working environment at FCAJ is very modern and professional. Access to the most advanced cloud technology from AWS, comfortable workspace with all amenities. Open company culture that encourages creativity and learning. However, could organize more team building events for interns to know each other better.
2. Support from Mentor / Team Admin
The mentor provides very detailed and patient guidance, always ready to answer questions even outside working hours. The admin team supports administrative tasks, provides documents, and creates favorable conditions for work. Especially appreciate that the mentor allows self-exploration and problem-solving instead of just giving answers, helping develop problem-solving thinking.
3. Relevance of Work to Academic Major
The Document QA project with AWS Bedrock aligns well with academic knowledge while introducing new areas like Generative AI, RAG, and Serverless Architecture. This allowed strengthening foundational Cloud Computing knowledge while gaining practical AI/ML skills.
4. Learning & Skill Development Opportunities
Participated in 14 weeks of labs with a lot of AWS services AWS services, from basic to advanced. Especially participated in 5 high-quality AWS events (Vietnam Cloud Day, Cloud Mastery Series, …), learning directly from Solutions Architects and experts. Mentor shared valuable real-world experiences helping plan career path in Cloud Computing.
5. Company Culture & Team Spirit
The company culture is very positive, everyone respects each other, works seriously but enjoyably. Networking with AWS community in Vietnam through events. This helped feel like part of a larger cloud community, not just an intern.
